3rd Annual Beers & Bids

Join us at the Trolley 5 Brewery on August 23rd for an evening of appies and beer to help us raise funds for Brady's Foundation!

3rd Annual Brady's Foundation Beers & Bids - Trolley 5 - Calgary - Aug 23, 2024 · Showpass

It is an unfortunate reality but sometimes, families with a child diagnosed with a rare palliative disease may be denied access to equipment because their child's condition will not improve with the use of said equipment, and therefore it is assessed that the equipment is better off to go to a child who will gain mobility instead of one with a palliative disease.  At Brady's Foundation, we believe that all children should have equal access to the necessary equipment needed to provide comfort and equality of life.

In 2023, Bradys Foundation raised $60,185 to fund our Family Support Grant Program.

With these funds, Brady’s Foundation helped families buy hospital beds, specialized lifts, activity chairs, and other equipment to help families care for and improve the lives of their children at home. In appropriate circumstances, Brady’s Foundation also contributes funds towards extraordinary needs, like supplemental foods or groceries.

This year, your generosity will be matched up to 50% as Brady's Foundation has been chosen as a participating charity in the Birdies for Kids, brought to you by AltaLink, program. Your support will allow us to issue funding in order to help ease the financial burden families face when caring for a child with a rare, life-limiting disease.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Friday, August 23rd. Doors open at 7pm.  Your ticket includes entry, a drink ticket and appetizers. There will be a silent auction and 50/50 raffle to help raise funds, and Directors of the Brady Foundation will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
